Jim is a singer, guitarist, songwriter and performing artist based in Asheville, NC. His music finds kinship in the late 60s folk rock sound that he fell in love with starting in high school.   
He got his start playing bars and clubs in Chicago, Il. But in 2016 he and his family moved to the WNC area. Jim continued to perform for local audiences. And in 2019 was awarded 2nd place in the finals of the Brownbag Songwriting Competition held in Asheville. 
He is currently preparing songs for his fourth album which is expected to be released some time in the first half of 2024.
