Jim is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter based in Asheville, NC.  He moved from Chicago to Asheville in 2016 and has been working as a performing and recording artist across the WNC area since then.
 
He was a finalist in Asheville's Brownbag Songwriting Competition in 2017 and 2019. And recently he was a showcase artist at AVL Fest 2024.  He is currently preparing for the release of his fourth album. 

Jim is moved by the incrdible growth of the Asheville music community in the last decade. And he grieves with it now in the aftermath of hurricane Helene.
